Brief description: In the memorial museum along with the apartment there is the exposition reflecting life and creative work of Bulbul, the founder of the Azerbaijan professional vocal art, national artist of the USSR, the Stalin Prize laureate, the public figure and professor. The museum is placed in four rooms, three of which are kept as memorial
ones, while one room is an exposition. Bulbul lived and worked in this apartment from 1937 to the last days of his life that is to 26th September 1961.
Nowadays, the museum possesses documents and materials covering Bulbul's many-sided and diverse creative, scientific, pedagogical and public activity. Among the exhibits there are authentic manuscripts, autographs, audio and gramophone records, photographs, notes, books, domestic appliances, works of art and personal belongings. The Museum ceased its work after Shusha (Garabakh) was captured by Armenian military forces in 1992.
