Brief
description:
The archaeological finds covering all stages of
the Azerbaijan history from the ancient Stone
Age up to the late Middle Ages as well as the
ethnographic materials dated from the 19th
century - beginning of the 20th century are the
core of the Museum collection. The museum
exhibits give a complete idea of the camps of
primitive people in Azerbaijan territory,
dwellings and tombstones of the settled
agricultural and cattle-breeding population,
culture of the early settlements, history and
tangible culture of the ancient states,
Azerbaijan ancient art, mode of life, economy
an, intellectual development of modern
Azerbaijanians' ancestors.
